Flanged spigot is a pipe fitting with a flange at one end and a spigot at the other end. The flange end is connected to other flanges of pipes, Pipe Fittings, Valves or water meters in the pipeline, the two flanges are connected by bolts. It is a rigid connection, and the spigot end is connected to socket ends from other pipes ,pipe fittings, valves etc in the pipeline . The socket end is connected by tyton gasket, providing flexible joint, the rigid connection at the flange end does not allow angular deflection, and the flexible connection at the spigot end allows angular deflection from 5° (DN80) to 1°30′ (DN2600). The larger the diameter of the pipe, the smaller the allowable deflection angle. The connection between the spigot end and other pipe parts is carried out through the Tyton gasket which is with self-sealing function. It only needs to simply insert the spigot end of flange spigot into the socket ends.
