Highly Corrosion-Resistant Dismantling Joint

Highly Corrosion-Resistant Dismantling Joint

For highly corrosive environments such as near sea environments, oil refineries etc., we need to paint the internal and external surfaces of the dismantling joint with corrosion-resistant paint, so that the dismantling joint parts can provide long-lasting protection in highly corrosive environments.

Project solution

Step 1

Shot blast the dismantling joint surface to SA2.5,and then remove surface dust by air scale machine

Step 2

Brush high anti-corrosion epoxy paint not less than 250um, in order to ensure that the thickness of the paint is uniform and the surface is smooth, we need to brush the paint in three times, as follows

1, Firstly, brush the first layer, the thickness is 70-80um, dry in the natural environment for 24 hours.

2, check whether the first layer is completely dry, if not, you need to continue to wait until the first layer is completely dry, brush the second layer, the thickness is 80-90um, and then dry in a natural environment for 48 hours.

3, check if the second layer is completely dry, if not , need to continue to wait until the second layer is completely dry, brush the third layer, thickness of 100um, and then dry in the natural environment for 48-72 hours.

4, check whether the paint is completely dry.

5, Compare with RAL colour card, make sure the colour is the same as the colour card.

6, Selected 10 points on the surface of the product arbitrarily, with a thickness gauge to detect the thickness of each point, the average value can not be less than 250um.
