Feature
When the wedge is fully opened, the valve bonnet and wedge will seal to avoid
fluid going outside(marked 1), then the o type sealing ring (marked 2) can be
changed without stopping the fluid in the pipeline.
Trapezoidal rubber ring, when the greater the water pressure, the greater the
deformation of the rubber ring, the tighter the seal
Stem blunt pressure integrated molding, to prevent the failure with the wear
and tear of the clamping ring
Metal sealing rings can be stainless steel, brass or Or other materials with equivalent properties

What is metal seated gate valve?
The gate valve which is sealed by metal sealing surface, we call it metal seated gate valve. Commonly used metal sealing material are stainless steel and brass.
Compared with the common brass seal, stainless steel seal is used less, but stainless steel seal is harder than brass seal and has a longer service life. However,
because of the high hardness of stainless steel, the grinding of the seal is more complicated, and the price of stainless steel is higher than the price of brass, so the
price of the metal seated gate valve with stainless steel seal is higher than the price of the metal seated gate valve with brass seal.

metal seated gate valves can‘t be used for fluids with hard particles, because there are grooves on the valve seat, hard impurities will be retained in the grooves of the valve seat, and when the valve wedge is closed, the hard particles will cause damage to the sealing ring of the valve plate, thus making the valve plate lose its sealing function.
A good metal seated gate valve should ensure that the centerline of the seal ring, the centerline of the valve wedge and the centerline of the valve bore should coincide,as show in the figure below
