Quick Flange Adaptor for PE pipe

Step 1

Select the right size quick flange adaptor according to the outside diameter of HDPE pipe. We marked the HDPE pipe OD on our quick flange adaptor body ,format is PE/PVC xxx(xxx means outside diameter of PE or PVC pipe),please note we use same quick flange adaptor body for PE and PVC pipe.

Step 2

Take out and separate the gasket(Figure No.4 as above diagram 1) and grip ring(Figure No.5 as above diagram 1) from quick flange adaptor, and set the flange body(Figure No.2 as above diagram 1) on the PE pipe to be connected.

Step 3


Set the grip ring (Figure No.5 as above diagram 1on the PE pipe to be connected, and then set the gasket(Figure No.4 as above diagram 1) on the PE pipe, adjust the position of the grip ring and the gasket, so that the end of PE pipe is inserted into the position of the bottom blocking platform of the gasket(Figure No.1 as below diagram 2 ).

Step 4

Move the flange body(figure No.2 as above diagram 1) to be inserted by gasket( Figure No.4 as above diagram 1) , push the bottom plane of the gasket(Figure No.1 as above diagram 2) hardly, so that the gasket is inserted into the internal cavity of the flange body. You can tap the bottom plane of the gasket with the help of a rubber mallet, so that the gasket is inserted as deep as possible.

Step 5

Align the flange of quick flange adaptor and the flanges connected to it , align the bolts hole of quick flange adaptor to the bolts hole of the flange connected to it, and then diagonally tighten the bolt evenly until the gasket is squeezed, pay attention to see whether the gap between the two flanges is uniform, you need to tighten to the flange gap uniform.

 

Step 6
Add the pressure slowly to see if there have leakage, if there is a leakage happen, you need to stop the pressure, tighten the bolts according to diagonal turn evenly again  . Until there is no leakage.

Quick Flange Adaptor for PVC pipe

Quick flange adaptor for PVC pipe is similar to Quick flange adaptor for PE pipe, but because PVC pipes are not as prone to deformation as PE pipes.So no need grip ring as quick flange adaptor for PE pipe.

The installation steps are as below

Step 1
