EN545/ISO2531 DI Pipe Fittings
DI pipe fittings, or Ductile Iron pipe fittings, are components used in piping systems to connect sections of ductile iron pipes, allowing for changes in direction, branching, or size adjustment. These fittings are made from ductile iron, a type of cast iron known for its improved mechanical properties such as high strength, flexibility, and impact resistance. Ductile iron achieves its superior qualities due to the spherical shape of the graphite nodules within the iron, as opposed to the flake-like structure found in grey cast iron.

Flanged Pipe
Flanged pipes are pipes with flanges at both ends or one end, and those that need to go through walls can have puddle flange, being called flanged pipes with puddle flange. Flanged pipes are connected each other with bolts, thus forming a rigid connection, and this connection is suitable for smooth and solid ground, because it is a rigid connection, and if it is installed on ground that is prone to settlement or other activities, it will produce a great force on the pipes, thus damaging the pipeline.
Flanged Spigot
Flanged spigot is a pipe fitting with one end flange, another end spigot. flange ends can connect with flange by bolts, spigot ends can be inserted into the socket end of di pipe fittings. The spigot ends and the socket ends can be connected by means of tyton gasket or mechanically with the Mechanical Joint Fittings by means of gland ,bolts and gasket.
Flanged Tees
Flanged tees are t type or Y type fitting for water line,if the branch size is same as the main pipeline,it is called equal tee,if the branch is smaller than main pipeline,it is called reduce tee,the main function of flanged tee is to change the fluid direction
flanged reducer
Flanged reducer is flanged ends reducing pipe,the two ends flanges can be concentric which is called concentric reducer,or can be eccentric which is called eccentric reducer
scour tee
Scour tee also called level invert tee,the branch size should be much smaller than main pipeline size, it is located at the low point of the pipe and it is an offset tee, thus facilitating the emptying of the water from the pipe, thus repairing the pipe and flushing the pipe to remove debris

Coating For EN545/ISO2531 DI Pipe fittings And Accessories
1.1 General External coatings:
• zinc coating with bitumen
• polyethylene sleeving (as a supplement to the bituminous paint or to the zinc coating with finishing layer)
• FBE coating no less than 250um.
1.2 Internal coatings (linings)
• thicker cement mortar lining
• cement mortar lining with seal coat
•FBE Coating no less than 250um
These external and internal coatings shall comply with the corresponding EN standards, or where no EN standard exist, they shall comply with ISO standards or with national standards, or with an agreed technical specification. The nominal thickness of the cement mortar lining and its tolerance shall be as given in table as below
