NRS gate valve
NRS gate valve stands for Non Rising Stem Gate Valve. NRS gate valves usually have a trapezoidal thread at the bottom end of the stem, which, by means of the threads at the bottom end of the valve and the guide groove on the valve wedge, changes the rotary motion into a linear motion, i.e. changes the operating torque into an operating thrust, so that the gate can be lifted and lowered by turning the hand wheel.
Judberd can supply NRS gate valve as below
Description
The NRS gate valve is divided into many connection methods (flange connection, mechanical connection, socket connection, threaded connection, etc.) and sealing methods (metal seated and resilient seated), as opposed to the NRS gate valve, which is the Rising stem gate valve. NRS gate valves require less space to operate than rising stem gate valves and do not require space for the stem to rise, so they are suitable for situations where there is limited space to operate, especially if the pipeline is installed underground. For underground pipelines it is possible to install an extension spindle of the appropriate length above the stem nut of the NRS gate valve so that the valve can be opened and closed from above ground. In this case, a surface box is required to position the valve and protect the extension spindle.
