Rubber Expansion Bellows with PTFE Lining

PTFE lined rubber joints are based on the original rubber joints or EPDM high wear resistant rubber joints, adding PTFE (also called TEFLON or polytetrafluoroethylene) coating inside, the coating is mainly white, which can effectively protect the rubber joints from corrosive media erosion.

flexible rubber joint with PTFE Lining

Features

Use

PTFE ling can prevent the expansion joint from being corroded by corrosive material such as strong acid, alkali or high temperature oil.

Rubber Expansion Bellows can still compensate for pipeline vibration and absorb pipeline displacement to reduce pipeline noise. Polytetrafluoroethylene coating can be effectively attached to the inner wall of the pipe to prevent it from being washed away by the medium or detached by the stretching and shrinking of the pipe.

Production Process

Using the coating process, the plastic and the rubber substrate are hot-melted together to make the coating and the rubber base become one, which enhances the adhesion of the coating and makes the product have good corrosion resistance and impact resistance

Advantage

Smooth surface, small coefficient of friction, strong non-adhesion, excellent anti-foreign object adhesion; non-toxic coating, solvent-free, non-exudate, non-polluting media

Application

More suitable for pharmaceutical, beverage, food, brewing and chemical, electric power industry and environmental protection desulphurization industry with high hygiene requirements

Anti-corrosion advantages

1. High temperature resistance: Max. use temperature 260 degrees.

2. Strong acid and alkali resistance: pH value 1~14

3. Excellent adhesion: negative pressure can reach 0.09MPa, vacuum effect.

4. Strong resistance to permeation: for hydrofluoric acid, chlorine gas, bromofluoric acid and other gases have good resistance to permeation.
