Rubber Joint with Control Rods/Limit Rods
The rubber joint with the control rods/limit rods enables the displacement of the rubber joint to be controlled within a certain
range, preventing the rubber joint from pulling out and at the same time playing a role in force transmission.
Specification
Design
With Limit Rods/Control Rods
Use
When The Pipeline Stretch Is Greater Than A Certain Range, In Order To Ensure The Safety Of The Pipeline, Especially When The Pipeline Has Vibration Or A Certain Inclination
Suitable For The Following Media
Seawater, Fresh Water, Hot And Cold Water, Drinking Water, Domestic Sewage, Crude Oil, Fuel Oil, Lubricating Oil, Refined Oil, Air, Gas, Steam And Granular Powder.
Advantage
1. When the flange of rubber joint is connected with other flange of pumps, valves, joints, etc., the control rods/tie rods of
rubber joint can transmit the axial forces, then it can work as well as steel flexible joints.
2. The rubber joint limit rods/tie rods is designed to prevent the rubber joint from pulling out.It can make the displacement of
rubber joints controlled within a certain range, which ensures the smooth operation of rubber joints and pipelines. The anti-
displacement device is a limit device added to the function of ordinary rubber joints to make the pipeline flexible within the
allowable elasticity range. When the pipeline extension is greater than a certain range, the pipeline connection is restricted to
ensure pipeline safety, especially when the pipeline has vibration or a certain inclination. When the diameter of the pipe is
greater than DN200, a rubber joint with limit rods/control rods must be installed. The reason for this is that the larger the
diameter, the greater the elasticity of the ball. The risk of rubber joint pull-out is greater.
