Universal Flange Adaptor
Universal flange adaptor is a pipe fitting used to connect pipes of different sizes and materials to a flange.
Universal flange adaptor also called ranger flange adaptor, maxi fit flange adaptor, wide range flange adaptor or supa flange adaptor, The socket end of universal flange adapter offer flexible connection for different pipes plain ends which pipe outside diameter is included in our designed range.Small angular deflection is allowable, and specified out-of-round pipe or OD deviation is acceptable(details is as our catalogue specified as below).Universal flange adaptor can be restrained type or non restrained type.It is very suitable for customers who buy flange adaptor for stock. If pipeline is underground or indoor, we use pure epoxy powder, if it is used outdoor, we use pure polyester powder which can resist ultraviolet rays. Two layer coating is available upon requirement, one is FBE coating , and then cold spraying another epoxy coating.nylon 11 coating or high anti-corrosion paint is also available.

Universal Flange Adaptor Working Principle
The working principle of the universal flange adaptor is that we insert the pipe into the socket end of the universal flange adaptor, when we tighten the bolts, the tightening force of the bolts will make the pressure between flange adaptor end ring and the cylinder body , thereby squeezing the rubber ring located between them. The rubber ring deforms to form a seal around the outer diameter of the pipe between the pipe and the universal flange adaptor. If the outer diameter of the pipe is large, then the deformation of the rubber ring is small. If the outer diameter of the pipe is small, then the deformation of the rubber ring is large, the deformation of the rubber ring is sufficient to form a seal around the outer diameter of the pipe and the flange adaptor. So that pipes with different outer diameters can be connected to flanges. It is usually used to connect pipes plain ends to valves, water meters, electromagnetic flow meters, or other pipeline fittings with flanges.
How to choose the right universal flange adaptor?
It is necessary to check the design standard of another flange connected to the flange of the universal flange adapter, so as to choose the right dimension of the flange of the universal flange adapter, and ensure that the two flanges mate to each other.
Make sure that the outer diameter of the pipe fit to the universal flange adapter, it is within the designed range of the universal flange adapter
Make sure the universal flange adapter can withstand the working pressure of the pipeline.
