Aquagrip Flange Adaptor
The Aquagrip flange adaptor also called multigrip restrained flange adaptor or ultra grip flange adaptor, is a self-anchoring flange adaptor with a locking block at the socket end and is available in a wide range of sizes to allow the connection of different pipes. The flange adaptor has the advantage that the restrained flange adaptor can grip the pipe and prevent it from leaking due to deformation, while the universal flange adaptor can be used to connect a wide range of different pipes and thus reduce stock.

Precaution
Aquagrip flange adaptor can’t accommodate for AC(Asbestos cement) pipe and GRP pipe.Because AC pipe surface is too rough ,the griper of aquagrip flange adaptor can’t work properly.GRP pipe is very smooth, can’t offer enough friction for the griper.

Installation Manual
This product is suitable for use with steel pipes, cast iron pipes, PE pipes, PVC pipes, and asbestos-cement pipes.
Step 1
Start by cleaning the pipe surface from sand and dirt.
Step 2
Then, measure the outside diameter of the pipe and choose the right aquagrip flange adaptor which designed range included the pipe outside diameter
Step 3
Loosen the aquagrip flange adptor bolts and insert the pipe. Please note there should be proper gap between the pipe end and flange sealing surface of aquagrip flange adaptor.
Step 4
Symmetrically and repeatedly tighten the bolts . Note: Do not tighten a single bolt all at once.
Step 5
Wait for approximately 30 minutes (to release the bolt’s initial tension and pipe stress), then repeat step 4 and tighten the bolts again.
Step 6
Perform a pressure test run, with the maximum pressure meeting 1.5 times the nominal pressure (1.5*PN). If there is any leakage or seepage, close the pressure, and repeat steps 4-6 as needed.
