Service Saddle

A service saddle is a crucial component in water distribution systems, designed to facilitate the branching of water from a main pipeline to a branch pipeline. This setup is commonly used to supply water from municipal pipes to household or commercial pipes. The service saddle is typically installed on the main pipeline and allows for a smaller branch pipe to be connected securely and efficiently.

Normally The service saddle is usually connected with a service valve. This valve plays a critical role in controlling the water flow from the main pipeline to the branch pipeline. By opening or closing the valve, the water supply to the household or commercial pipes can be regulated, making it easy to perform maintenance, repairs, or adjustments to the water distribution system.
