Flange adaptor for HDPE pipe must have a restraint device, and this restraint device can be a restrained ring or a restrained wedge, the restrained ring or wedge is generally made of metal material, because HDPE pipe is easy to slide or loose at the joint due to its smooth surface and flexibility, the restraint device can fix the pipe and prevent the pipe from moving during operation.
